I've got "Pictures at an Exhibition" conducted by a number of people in addition to this one, and this one holds up very well against any of them. The recording is crystal clear, and I can hear virtually every instrument in the orchestra. The orchestra itself is simply among the most expressive I've heard playing this piece. It is absolutely satisfying.
I can't, as the other reviewer does, say that this is the "best" recording of "Pictures", as there are so many others that bring something of their own to my ears. I will say, however, that this would be right up there in my top five. I've loved this piece of music since I first heard it in high school, and will never get tired of it.
This review is not at all objective, but is based entirely on my taste and listening experience.
