This is almost all 20th century "modrun" (deliberately misspelled) music. For the most part it is boring, but also tends to be annoying at times. There are no problems with the quality of performance nor the quality of the recording. The quality of the compositions is obviously another issue. Music like this is what causes many people to conclude that the only true form of art music of the 20th century comes from music for movies.
Don't buy this CD unless you like the ilk of Schoenberg and Hindemith. The one redeeming composition is Divertimento for Wind Orchestra by Boris Blacher, but this is not worth paying the price for this compact disc.
